This specific blog post I will be calling it "the toddler relief"... mainly because I NEED some kind of venting/brainstorming platform or whatever.
My girls are growing up so fast, & every single day that passes on by they become even more strong willed. I know that they will become world leaders, world shapers, and world changers.
I do not want to diminish the flame they have within; but I want them to learn to use emotion and discussion to resolve whatever comes their way.
As of lately it has felt like I have just spent my days being yelled at by two toddlers (or even having to dodge items that are being launched)... & that is so overwhelming - I never took well to having anyone yell at me or try to purposefully hit me...
BUT there is so much more behind their yells & launches that I constantly have to remind myself.
They are 2 going on 3 NOT 27 going on 28...
what I know now I DEFINITELY did not know back then.
"Don't worry that [you feel like your] children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you."
Parenting comes with no rules or instructions... which sucks because I am the queen of reading instruction manuals...
So as a parent I will continue to
Love. Care. Be Kind.
I will continue to LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
Parenthood is definitely a journey not just for the parents... but for the kids you are trying to raise.

REMINDER:
Go prioritize yourself:
Your physical health matters.
Your mental health matters.
Your emotional health matters.
YOU MATTER.
