We are constantly outgrowing things - from clothes to behaviors to our own surroundings... we are always growing & changing.
That is how life is supposed to go... it is normal, expected, and makes total sense.
If everything around you remains constant, then that is a clear sign that you are not growing. I know it's very common to fall into the same pattern, same routine, and surround yourself with the same group. Heck... I know for a fact that thats how my life had been for almost 2 years, once the pandemic hit... & even before then for another 2 years... (seems like I have a pattern...)
BUT... "If we don't grow, we aren't really living" , so don't be afraid & trust the journey... it's taken you this far (& if you feel stuck - then maybe you're shrinking to blend into your surroundings... look for the growth!)
In the past - I found joy in day drinking or bar hopping; but now my priorities shifted, I prefer to wake up early & feel good so that I get to enjoy my workout & my family.
It's funny, because recently we have been socializing a lot more with others & how they live their life is almost exactly how I did in the past. & honestly, I do feel kind of odd being surrounded by that energy. It's a great hype... but I'd rather be up early than still up very late at night.
I am grateful to have outgrown those certain habits because they have brought me to where I am today.
My journey has led me to shifting my mindset, accepting & acknowledging how I feel, & working extra HARD to achieve my goals. It has led me to challenging myself almost daily to get out of my comfort zone. Back then, I felt stuck... but now I feel like I am going 100000 mph.
We all go through different stages in our lives & remember you get to decide what's right for you always... just don't get stuck.
