Don’t Wish For Things To Stop

Wish for them to keep going.

Life doesn’t stop.

Your mind doesn’t stop, I’m sure I can’t be the only one who’s brain runs at 10000mph.


The other night I literally went to bed thinking up different topics to work on. Thinking about what needs to be done the next day. Thinking about what we will eat… and so forth.


& obviously, the next morning, I didn’t want to get up… it had taken me over 40 minutes to fall asleep (in the dark)


But life doesn’t stop.


Work needs to be done. The house needs to be cleaned and organized. Breakfast needs to be made.


Things need to be done.


So on the mornings that you do not want to wake up or get up… think about how what you do matters. EVERYTHING you do matters.


There are consequences to your actions.

Define those.

What happens when you don’t do what you planned to do?

Are you okay with that consequence?

If you keep putting things off, then you’ll actually become more overwhelmed

So to save yourself the trouble, stick to your routine.


And think.. if you don’t do it, who will?


Embrace being wanted & needed.

Fun fact: I genuinely dislike being told to just rest when the girls rest…


There is always stuff that needs to be done. & I literally have a time scheduled for rest and that’s bedtime.
